If this is Thursday, it must be Phrygia

We spent a LONGER day today crossing the West to East in ancient Phrygia, visiting the ancient sites of Laodicea, Hierapolis, and Sardis. NOTE: Alfafa, your wife is in great shape and missing you!
In fact, everyone is in great shape, eating wildly, and enjoying about every minute of our time together. I will post as many fotos as possible. Tonight, after arriving in Izmir, we had a LATE dinner on the edge of the Mediterranean under a cool sky with the lights and sounds of the harbor reverberating off the sides of a building designed by Eifel, of the Tower fame.....A great time was had by all, hosted by our Tour Agent, Levent Oral.

Laodicea

Hierapolis

Martyrion of St Phillip

Listening at the Gates of Hades, Plutonium at Hierapolis
